I vividly remember getting a casette tape from Ashkelon featuring a couple of unrelease TTTS tracks plus an early mix of "Delirious" and I was pretty floored by it. The track "Mother" really had me bent out of shape and mystified all at once... still haven't gotten that song out of my head! I remember thinking how impossible the odds seemed that there was someone out there more tormented than I was at the time. When I saw you had a site up on myspace I simply HAD to get in touch and give some kudos.
glad to be friends.

I remember hearing and seeing you live in SC. forced myself to meet you at Paul Kelly's oudoor show when i played with the criminals...or it might have even been pullout. Still have your early tapes and have always been impressed/moved by your music.
Take care
Tim

I remember you from TRANCE TO THE SUN fame. It's good you're still into music. Hopefully I get to interview for the music webzine (www.chaindlk.com) I write for. I love your voice. It's beautiful with ethereal feel.

Dawn... I think your layers and voice is amazing and hauntingly very erotic in a story teller sense of darkness... I remember hearing your song's at an earlier stage and I was amazed then, and still am. hope to see you out there on the circuit! keep up the great WERK....! Much Love to Ya~Davie

Scarlet Slipping defies musical catagories, which is very hard to find these days. Certainly you can hear Dawn's musical influences, but her music does not conform to any specific influences. I can hear a little Loreena McKennitt, some Siouxie Sioux, a bit of Mazzy Star. Yet, this CD doesn't sound like any of them.
Give it a listen.

A couple of years ago, my friend brought me to a Scarlet Slipping show. I was amazed, and an instant fan. Unfortunately, at the time the only way to get her music was at mp3.com. So, I’m so excited to finally have a Scarlet Slipping cd, complete with 2 tracks I downloaded so long ago. I love the cd and think it’s simply amazing. The vocal range combined with the dark feel of the songs always gives me chills. I would recommend this to everyone!

Stunning. Amazing. Beautiful. Artistic. Soothing. Poetic. Angelic. Striking. Eye-catching. And that was before I saw your site.
Reassuring that someone as beautiful on the outside also has the inner beauty that puts the outer beauty to shame.
Wish I could know you better. Very interesting person to see and know.. Maybe sometime... somewhere...I will keep hoping.
Facinated by you;
Zer0

Hello Dawn-
I'm glad to see you're still alive & pursuing your music. And to hear your music studio is more agreeable than Jade's storage closet in SF (though there were some fun moments inside that closet, right). Maybe one day we will cross paths again in some near future or perhaps alternate reality.
sincerely yours
